in reply to: Anyone Using the CPC script with K3.5? #30556
Merging scripted multis is unfortunately not handled well in Kontakt so you have to manually load the scripts into a multi. I put the two scripts into this multi and I also had to make some changes on CPC so that program changes won’t be delayed until note-off, I hope Nickie won’t mind.

Thanks. I’ll give that shot. Wonder if you can combine this multi with CPC..Bueller???
It does, just put the CPC multiscript after the keyswticher one. I put them that way into this multi. EDIT: though at first when the CPC was active only the bank on channel 1 got the program changes and the KS activates only after the KS key is released. Now it’s fixed, you can redownload it.

in reply to: Setting up all of LASS #30242Well, CPU-wise partitioning the way you described indeed could be better because the scripts have to be evaluated on every voice you start but in my experience the bottle-neck usually is still the HDD access not the CPU power, even on my not too up-to-date setup (Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz with 7200RPM HDDs) so I mostly optimise for that. Maybe the others can chime in with their experiences in this regard.
in reply to: Setting up all of LASS #30240Because vlns 1 and 2 are essentially using the same sample set you wouldn’t have much benefit from situating them on one machine and the rest on another so a vlns+vlas and celli+bass split should ideally provide a more even workload for the computers.
