in reply to: ARC and midi channels #53225
Actually, I want to load only one articulation, so yes I don’t need the keyswitches. I was simply trying to use art and aa and it didn’t work until I go to the keyswitch page and setup the keyswitch midi channel number to 16. This is what I don’t understand, why I have to go to the keyswitch page although I don’t need to use it?
in reply to: ARC and midi channels #53223Thanks,
There is still something unclear, I’m sorry. I still don’t understand the Keyswitch page, specially the table on the right side. My multi works only if don’t change the keyswitch. Otherwise, the AA doesn’t work. I dont’ know if my setup is correct, that’s why I attached my multi to the page. Maybe you could point what’s wrong with the setup, I did the setup from scratch.
Thanks,
in reply to: ARC and midi channels #53221Thanks,
I watch the videos and I understand this:
example:
On a midi track (channel midi 16) is loaded: Kontakt with ARC multi loaded with 8 patches (midi channel 1 to 8 in Kontakt), the ARC KeySwitch input channel set to 16. I can control everything from the midi track.
Is that correct?
in reply to: External ssd or internal non ssd #53218Thank you very much for your answer.I transferred everything on the internal hd and it’s already much better.
There is another point which I’m never very clear: Should we use one instance of Kontakt loaded with many patches or several instances of Kontakt loaded with fewer patches?in reply to: External ssd or internal non ssd #53216Thanks, I’ll do that then.
Performance wise, does the power of the processor matters a lot? I want to use lass in a live/performance setting (having several instances of kontakt loaded with ideally all articulations and all sections), and I’m wondering if building a dedicated pc custom for it wouldn’t be a better way to go. What do you think?in reply to: External ssd or internal non ssd #53214early 2015
in reply to: ART and sustain pedal #53212Ok thanks
in reply to: Sustain Pedal with AA works randomly #35994I play within range, live and even if my sustain pedal is on, the AA would not work (notes don’t hold). So I stop playing, release the pedal and start again. I hold the pedal, play a few notes, it doesn’t work. I stop, realese and start again. Hold the pedal, play and this time (maybe!) it works. Sometimes I have to do it 5 times, sometimes it works for a while.
It happens when I play live or when I playback as well. This is weird…
Thanks for your helpin reply to: Sustain Pedal with AA works randomly #35992There is already plenty of CC64 messages before the notes.
It really works randomly because when I play it from the beggining for example, sometimes the AA works, sometimes it doesn’t, even if I didn’t touch anything. -
