Thank you, I understand that so far.
I noticed this in connection with the new RAM management and the new patches, because even after “Purge all samples” about 1GB is still occupied.
Compared to other sound libraries, which keep a maximum of 350-500 MB in Kontakt after “Purge all samples”, this appears to be quite large.
E.g. the NI String Ensembles Library, which also comes from you, remains about 480 MB of the memory occupied.
Let’s see how this works in practice, because the older of the 2 PCs I used also has less RAM available.
And Kontakt obviously does not release the occupied memory immediately, even if the instrument is closed, but only after the Kontakt has been completely closed.

Thanks for the information, but I understood the new RAM management.
Nevertheless, Lass 3 still occupies 1GB of system memory even with completely emptied RAM (purge all samples).
Even after closing Lass 3 within Kontakt, 0.6 GB of system memory remains occupied and is only released again when Kontakt itself is closed.

This happens in the standalone version.

Kontakt within Cubase behaves similarly, with the first instance blocking 1GB system memory and each additional instance only 0.3-0.6 GB.
As already noted, still after executing purge all samples.
